Selection Summary is the story summary. This can be used as a quick read for parents to familiarize them with their child's current story, or as a good review for the student prior to taking a quiz or test. It is also good to use for reading fluency practice, but keep in mind that the summary is not always written at the same grade level as the story.

Spelling Word Cards are flashcards with the selection spelling words printed on them. The words in italic are review words and the words in bold are challenge words. These words can be either printed out and mixed up or read off the screen as a spelling quiz for the student.
