This past Friday, our Birney Student Council elections for the 2017-2018 school year were held. Our 4th and 5th graders met in the cafeteria to listen to speeches given by our candidates and then returned to their classrooms for voting. All of our candidates were highly qualified and gave excellent speeches, so the race was a tough one! Congratulations to all of our candidates for a race well run!
