Mosquito Concerns

Vector Control Districts across the southland are dealing with three new aggressive, day-biting invasive mosquitoes. These mosquitoes pose significant concerns because of their potential to rapidly spread viruses such as Zika, dengue, and chikungunya if the viruses are imported into Los Angeles County. So far, this has not happened, which is why we need to remain diligent.

Vector Control Districts get calls daily from school administrators and parents complaining about serious mosquito problems on campus.

While mosquitoes are very difficult to control, there is a LOT that you can do to reduce your risks. PLEASE review the flyer.
