Room 24

Welcome to Room 24! I look forward to working with your children this year as we continue working with the Common Core standards in language arts and math and the Next Generation standards in science. Our focus this year will be on encouraging students to collaborate and communicate with one another, think critically, and get creative. Your children are the leaders and the innovators of tomorrow.

A letter will be coming home on the first day of school that outlines some of our important classroom policies. There are some sections that I ask parents to fill out, so please ask your child for that letter. A copy of that letter is posted on this website, just in case.

Just as I expect students in our classroom to communicate openly with one another, I hope to have open communication with our Room 24 parents as well. Please feel free to contact me through Class Dojo, email, text or voice message, or by note at any time. I will do my best to get back to you as quickly as possible. I also encourage parents to check our website frequently. This is where you can find a weekly teacher message, important upcoming dates, homework, helpful links, and even photos of our class in action.
