Hello Room 24 Students and Parents,

     Our class won the Red Ribbon Week door decorating contest! Congratulations to our students for all of their hard work! A special thank you to Lauren and her mom for the beautiful "O-fish-ally Drug Free" door decor. 

     This Tuesday being Halloween, we will be having a day full of scary stories, science lessons about the human skeleton, and an art project that goes along with our science. We will not have homework on Tuesday so that everyone can go about their Halloween festivities. Please, please be safe out there!

     The rest of the week we will be working with the word roots scrib, scribe, and script, continuing with Shiloh and our native tribe reports, and reviewing math in preparation for our Chapter 3 test.

     This Friday is Birney's annual Fall Festival. It is a night filled with costumes, games, and good food. The evening starts at 4:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm. Pre-sale tickets are on sale in the office this week.
